Album photos
Usually present a catalog or selection. They may use controlled lighting, chosen angles, reused images, or a sample that is not tied to your specific context.
QC photo comparison
Album photos explain how an item is presented. QC photos can show a specific item in a separate context. The useful question is whether the two sets can be connected carefully.
When a row connects album presentation with later QC images, compare the item code, category, color, option, dimensions, distinctive details, and source first. Those later photos provide context for one item; they do not authenticate it, verify the seller, or promise that another item will look the same.
Different purposes
Usually present a catalog or selection. They may use controlled lighting, chosen angles, reused images, or a sample that is not tied to your specific context.
Usually document a particular item at a point in a separate process. They may have fixed lighting, limited angles, compression, or missing measurements.
Establish the match
Product-specific evidence
Garment width and length, collar, seams, print or embroidery placement, fabric texture, and option label.
Overall shape, side profile, sole, toe, heel, stitching, size label, insole measurement, and included packaging.
Shape, dimensions, base, interior, closures, strap attachments, hardware, pockets, and material texture.
Case dimensions, dial layout, hands, crown, clasp, caseback, and the evidence behind any movement statement.
Model and specification labels, ports, controls, included parts, compatibility, power information, and visible condition.
Scale, dimensions, fastening details, material close-ups, matching pieces, and option or color identifiers.
Fit evidence
Compare the same measurement method. A garment laid flat, a shoe insole, a bag exterior, and a watch case each require different reference points. Note whether the QC image includes a ruler, where the measurement begins, and whether perspective makes the reading uncertain.
A size label by itself does not prove the real dimensions or fit. Keep the listed size and measured dimensions in separate fields.
Photo limits
Compare neutral and direct light when available, and avoid exact color claims from one compressed image.
Wide-angle and close views can distort proportions. Use several consistent angles.
A hidden interior, base, label, port, or measurement remains unknown—not automatically acceptable.
A QC image shows only what is visible in that image and context. It does not prove origin, material composition, performance, stock, seller reliability, delivery, refund eligibility, or the outcome of a future transaction.
